01

Recovered Resources, Not Waste

Our separation technologies recover valuable resources from complex waste streams, transforming contaminated water, brines, hydrocarbons, industrial fluids, catalysts, and process liquids into reusable products. Whether the objective is water reuse, oil recovery, fluid recirculation, or waste reduction, Stage 3 helps clients maximize resource value while minimizing disposal volumes.

02

Less Waste. Lower Cost. Greater Recovery.

Stage 3 converts high-volume liquid and slurry waste streams into manageable solid residuals while recovering reusable liquids and hydrocarbons. By dramatically reducing waste volume and transportation requirements, our systems lower disposal costs, improve site logistics, and support environmental compliance.

03

Scalable Solutions, Anywhere

Designed for mobility, flexibility, and rapid deployment, Stage 3's modular processing systems can be configured to meet virtually any flow rate, solids loading, or project requirement. Whether supporting a single operation or a large-scale multi-unit deployment, our technology reduces site congestion, minimizes truck traffic, and delivers efficient processing wherever the work is happening.

04

Technology, Expertise & Execution

Stage 3 combines one of North America's most capable fleets of mobile separation, dewatering, recovery, and processing equipment with experienced engineering, laboratory, operational, and field support teams. Clients can use fully managed service solutions, remotely monitored IoT-integrated rental assets, or any combination in between, providing the flexibility to deploy the right technology, expertise, and support for every application.

How we work with our clients.

Every project is different. Tell us about your waste stream and project objectives, and we'll tailor the right equipment, personnel, and monitoring strategy to meet your operational goals.

Our advantage

Beyond equipment.
Powered by expertise.

We back our equipment with decades of engineering and field experience, helping customers cut costs, reduce risk, and solve problems others can't.

76%of North Dakota wells supported in 2025

652 of the 854 wells drilled in North Dakota, covering 15.5 million feet of hole.

1M+cubic yards processed

From municipal lagoons and dredging to industrial waste streams and construction slurries.

30+years of experience

Tens of thousands of projects across oil and gas, construction, industrial, municipal, and dredging markets.

Energy

For drilling operators and completions teams. We run solids control and fluid recovery as one field service: drilled solids out, usable fluid back in circulation, performance documented daily. The fluid keeps working and the well keeps moving. Whatever the vertical, we know it and show up ready to run.

What teams want to understand before they bring us on

Talk to S3S

Can my crew run your system?

Yes. We provide straight equipment rentals, and if your team wants to operate the system themselves we'll train them on site until they're proficient. Many clients see what's involved and prefer to leave operation to our crews. Either way works.

Why not just purchase the equipment?

The centrifuge isn't the hard part. Keeping it in spec, servicing it before it fails, and acting on the data is, and that's what our crews deliver. Own the equipment yourself and that responsibility, plus the maintenance program behind it, falls to you.

Has S3S processed this kind of slurry before?

With over three decades of experience successfully executing projects across North America, there aren't many applications we haven't encountered. And when a job is new to one crew, we bring in the specialists who do it day in and day out.

Is my project the right size?

Our systems are modular: we add units for higher volume or scale down for less. To be candid, very short or very small jobs can be outweighed by mobilization and trucking costs. Share the scope and we'll give you a straight assessment.

How clean does the water come back?

To whatever specification you require. Clean enough to reuse on site, discharge to sewer where permitted, or meet your disposal criteria. You set the target, we meet it.

Results from the field
75 to 80% of the Williston Basin

In the Bakken, S3S has held 75 to 80% market share for the better part of a decade. In a business where 15% makes you the leader, nobody else in solids control has come close.

Oil & gas, Williston Basin
On site in 24 hours

When a customer calls, we can be rigged up and running on location inside a day. That comes from staging ready equipment across the continent and servicing it before it's needed, not after.

Field operations
Equipment that doesn't quit mid-job

Every machine runs with vibration sensors and remote monitoring, and our crews service on a fixed schedule instead of running gear into the ground. If a unit drifts out of spec, we swap it before it costs you a day.

Reliability & safety
One of the largest fleets in North America

Hundreds of centrifuges, shakers, and dewatering tanks, sized for anything from a single backyard to a full drilling program. The right unit is ready, and the backup is already behind it.

Fleet & scale
Dredged a refinery pond, start to finish

We dewatered an entire industrial pond on a working refinery site, returned clean water, and hauled off dry, stackable solids. First-of-its-kind for the crew, and it ran clean.

Environmental services
Less waste in the landfill

On a lot of jobs we cut the volume hauled off by roughly half: fewer trucks on the road, far less material buried. We're a separation company, but we're an environmental one too.

Environmental impact

Your waste stream
is a resource.

S3S turns high-volume slurry, drilling fluid, and wastewater into clean water and dry solids, with a smaller footprint, fewer trucks, and complete turnkey systems delivered with all in-house resources.

Less replacement fluid. Less haul-off. Less coordination. More control over what leaves your site.

Oil and gas, construction, industrial, dredging, and municipal. One platform, deployed across North America.
